Welcome to my little neck of the woods. You are in for a treat as you will find a wide variety of original primitive artwork. I specialize in hand crafted dolls but create many other folk art collectibles. I listen to all requests so feel free to contact me about creating you a unique primitive original.

Just had to share, I am finally finished hooking this big huge rug! Can't believe I actually even took on the challenge of doing something that took so many hours. Not like me at all.

This rug is 4 1/2 feet by 3 1/2 feet. I will not be binding this rug until I know whether I will be hanging it on the wall or placing it on the floor. This is my first and last big big rug. I hooked this to remember our purchase of our property.

The bears often come by our land. The deer are always in the area. Last year we watched many fawns grow here. Thus we decided to name our property Fawn Hollow. We have black and also gray squirrels. I wanted to keep to a primitive theme. Thus the stacked bear bird and flag. The black cat is fictional. Our cat is a tabby. But it just wouldn't show up well enough with those colors. The cabin is also fictional.

This rug was hooked as part of a challenge started by Kelley.
